I have to be honest here. I am not really a techie person unlike most technology bloggers out there. I use the internet, yes. I do blog and i maintain a number of social media accounts. I even do some online marketing tasks for individuals and companies. I have to admit though that travel and entertainment are the two niches that I prioritize more.

Just last week, a friend of mine suggested that I try to relive this site since I kept on renewing it. Why not use it? I am planning to hire co-writers who can help me out with the contents. I will also post updates on the latest mobile phones and gadgets. I will also share some of my learnings in social media marketing and search engine optimization. The 2009 Philippine Blog Awards is fast approaching! We’ve nominated our favorite blogs to their respective categories and the final list of nominees will be out anytime soon. Last year’s awards night was a memorable one and we’ve seen a number of good blogs that influenced a lot of readers.

If last year Red Mobile was introduced to the public with 3G coverage, I would like to inform everyone that Red Mobile is now compatible with 2G phones! Aside from the fact that the users can enjoy with the Cheapest/lowest call rates (Php.50 per minute), this is also applied in video calls. A blogger friend of mine informed me awhile ago that Red Mobile is also using the same infrastructures and technology of Smart. Does this mean that Red Mobile will soon be powered by more than 8,000 cell sites? Precisely!

Though one of the major mobile networks became popular due to its ‘unlimited’ call and texts, I believe that Red Mobile will be able to make it big in the market since the concept of ‘unlimited’ actually pertains to choppy lines, weak signals (especially in provinces) and dropped calls. As a consumer, I believe in the value of money. I’d rather spend Php .50 per minute instead of dealing with unclear phone lines. Just this morning, I decided to use my Red Mobile sim card to call a friend from Pangasinan, who is a Red Mobile user too. We ended up talking for 30 minutes without encountering any creepy-like sounds. Isn’t that great? I suggest that you try Red Mobile. It’s better than unlimited!  Try it now!

Just the other night, I found out that two of my blogger friends created a very informative blog about MyBrute, one of the fastest growing flash games online today. I remember signing up for an account during the Holy Week break, but I wasn’t able to maintain it. I only fought with a friend once and that’s it

On my first week, I learned a number of lessons. Thank God I was able to attend at the seminar in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan, where I met some of the known practitioners in the Philippines who are based in Lingayen, Alaminos, Laoac, Binalonan, Urdaneta and Dagupan City. I know a number of them who also joined the contest and like them, I am hoping to gain the top spot (or at least one of the three spots).

We still have two more months to go. Two more months of research and learning. Through this, the patience of the participants will be tested. I am lucky enough to survive the first week at Page 1 for the tnomeralc web design toys challenge by Claremont Design and LA Toy Store. I am really hoping for nothing but the best.
