After two years of hiatus, I am once again updating this neglected Technology blog of mine.
I have to be honest here. I am not really a techie person unlike most technology bloggers out there. I use the internet, yes. I do blog and i maintain a number of social media accounts. I even do some online marketing tasks for individuals and companies. I have to admit though that travel and entertainment are the two niches that I prioritize more.
Just last week, a friend of mine suggested that I try to relive this site since I kept on renewing it. Why not use it? I am planning to hire co-writers who can help me out with the contents. If you’re interested to submit, just leave a message in the comments section. I am planning to write features on several websites that caught my interest. I will also post updates on the latest mobile phones and gadgets. I will also share some of my learnings in social media marketing and search engine optimization. Hoping i’d finally get my techblogging mojo back!
Video games just seem to get better and better. In the past such games as Pac Man, Asteroids and Super Mario Bros. were incredibly popular. Arcade lines would stretch outside the building at times with eager kids who had pockets full of quarters just waiting for their crack at the new game.
Now, gamers have access to a wide variety of amazing video games ranging from the comfort of their own home. Today’s video games have become much more intense, visually stunning and far more interactive, with more features and more buttons to push. Games are now also now required have ratings, like a film, as many are extremely violent and not suited for kids. Popular Video Games – Fallout 3
Fallout 3 takes place in the distant future, hundreds of years after a nuclear explosion has devastated the Earth. The plot line picks up a few decades after the end of Fallout 2. The main character is a survivor who must make his way through a war-torn world rife with a variety of deadly post-apocalyptic enemies that now inhabit the planet. It’s a great shooter/role playing game with some fun weapons. These weapons lose their effectiveness over time and must be kept up in order to be maintained. Players can form parties of up to three players to take on the game.
Popular Video Games – Call of Duty: World at War
Call of Duty: World at War is an intense first person shooter that satisfies anyone’s love for World War II action. Players find themselves using old school weaponry and grenades to battle through different levels in the Pacific and on the Eastern Front. Players have a certain amount of support provided to them from their allies, which the computer controls. The realistic graphics, great storyline and exciting controls make the fifth installment of the Call of Duty series on of the most popular video games out there today.
Popular Video Games – God of War Franchise
The God of War franchise has been developed over the past several years into two released titles and an upcoming release in 2009. It revolves around a Spartan warrior who is charged with stopping the Greek god of war Ares, who has launched an assault on Athens. The plot is highly developed and the imagery and graphics are rich.
Popular Video Games – Mario Kart Wii
This inventive take off the old smash hit Mario Kart is an extremely fun game for all ages and gaming levels. Players control the classic Mario Bros. characters in a battle on wheels. Wii lovers can insert their controllers into a steering wheel and battle friends for supremacy in the trippy world of Mario and friends.
There you have it! What can you say about the list? As time passes by, new games come out in the market and people do really patronize them. Aside from internet slots, people turn into video games to give them the dose of entertainment they deserve.
A few weeks ago, a number of bloggers including yours truly was invited in a ‘secret’ event. We were asked to go to M Cafe at Greenbelt and was later on transferred to another venue. It turned out that Globe is behind this ‘kidnapping’ (LOL).
